Seller Checklists

Use these lists to plan what belongs in your seller setup before you start buying supplies.

Starter shipping station

• Clear packing surface.
• Two or three package sizes.
• Tape and tape dispenser.
• Shipping scale with readable display.
• Label printing method and backup plan.
• Outgoing-order staging spot.

Packing supplies

• Common mailer or box sizes.
• Protective fill for fragile or loose items.
• Labels or label paper.
• Restock note or weekly supply check.

Label printer setup

• Correct label size selected in shipping software.
• Printer connected and tested with a sample label.
• Extra labels stored flat and clean.
• Scale close enough to avoid reweighing or moving packages.

Weekly restock check

• Count package sizes that are close to empty.
• Check tape, labels, and printer supplies.
• Clear finished-order and return areas.
• Remove package sizes or tools that are not being used.

How to use these checklists

Use the checklist before buying. If an item does not solve a repeated shipping, packing, listing, or storage problem, it can usually wait.
